Unable to add activities to any course.

Hello,

Previously, I was able to add activities to courses.  Now, not only can I not add activities, but the edit dropdown button no longer appears in the course section under categories.  Using Moodle 3.10 and I am the Administrator.  Need assistance in determining what the issue is.

Are you sure you're still the administrator? i.e. somebody has removed your account from the list of administraors?

I have confirmed that I am the Administrator.  There is no one else with this role.  I had the ability to add activities previously and nothing has changed to my knowledge.

Editing was not turned off.  Still working on setup of site.  Unable to do anything beyond creating a course.

Can you view the logs, thus shed light on anything that could have happened? What other administrator options can you see? Have you allocated the 'course creator' role to yourself? Are you using a core theme, such as Boost?  What contributed plugins are installed?

2 additional suggestions: see if the course or the category has its context 'frozen'; look at the admin reports "Config changes" to see if that helps lead to a clue about some setting that changed...

Thanks for the suggestion.  I took a look at the Config Report and Event Log.  There is no indication of any changes related to course sections or activities.  Nothing is frozen.

Can you post some screenshots of what you are seeing exactly? What theme are you using?

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. Since there was no content in the course, I simply deleted and recreated it. There must have been a code error because the recreated course has the sections and topics and I can add content. I still cannot add activities to a course from the Managed Categories and Courses page. Thinking this is a change in basic coding.
