Hey there, I am new to moodle development. Im trying to develop an interface between moodle front end and an external file server which keeps all course materials organized and centralized(PDF, SCROM, Pictures etc.). If i want to communicate from the front end of moodle and talk to my external server (Java, MySql), which then in response sends me all course-material titles, descriptions etc. in JSON-Format and provides a downloadlink to the course material are Moodle Web services the right choice for me ?
Is it possible to achieve this using moodles rest api?
There are no exampls that fit my needs 100% maybe someone can give me the thumbs up or lead me on the right track.
