Hi! I was reading a news article (https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-57611701) about Google & Cookies.

I was curious about how Moodle might be affected by Google's plan to "block third-party cookies from its Chrome internet browser" sometime in 2023. Might this mean no more using Moodle in a Chrome browser, or might this not affect Moodle's use of cookies?

It doesn't effect Moodle because Moodle doesn't use third party cookies. The session cookies that Moodle relies on are first party and they are going no place.

You might have some issues with stuff Moodle links to. We've been seeing problems with Zoom in Safari browsers. Safari has blocked 3rd party cookies for ages.
