I'm creating a big wiki that will contain all of the course content. Most of it is going well. But some sometimes I create a page and the link does not change from red.
After save the page, and clicking on the red link, you are taken to the page with its content intact but in edit mode. No number of "Save"s saves it.
And when I select some other text to create a link, the same things happens.
I thought that manually cleaning up all this gunk might help, but no. For example:
<p><span lang="en-gb" xml:lang="en-gb"><a></a></span></p>
<p>Now let's explore the Continuum of Halliday's lovely term <span>lexicogrammar.</span></p>
When logged in as student, you can click on the red and get this error message.
Sorry, but you do not currently have permissions to do that (Save wiki pages).
Click on more information takes you to home page of the wiki, where this is no information about this error.
The gunk is dreadful and I discussed it here six months ago. But the problem of red staying red prevents my students from progressing through the wiki as they should.
Any advice?
Thanks,
James
