Can't delete Event .. Overlapping Calendar

Some buggy bug issue here ...

Can't delete Event, because the the calendar is blocking the delete icon..

any fix for that?

Sorry, I don't know how to fix it, but to me it looks like an issue with the theme rather than calendar (on my site the edit and delete icons are on the left and there is no overlap).

Try changing your theme and see if you can delete it then. If so, perhaps post a bug in the theme forum to see if someone there can fix it properly.

I am having the same problem with my theme as well and am not sure where I should go in my theme file to change this.

Has anyone come across a solution for this?  Thanks very much.

Hi,
this worked for me:

1. Copy and paste the calendar address in your browser:
https://moodle.myuniversity.edu/calendar/

2. A list of events of ALL events of your courses (be careful and don't erase the wrong one!) will be shown together with the "x" icon that gives you the option to erase. Worst case scenario, it'll give you the option to edit it.

Hello, i think I've come up with a solution (in moodle 2.7 elegance theme):

  1. Click on the date in the calendar which is linked to an event. 
  2. Look at the id of this event which will show up in the address bar and remember it.

Next, you must open this link  http://yoursitename/calendar/delete.php?id=11&course=1 

Change this link typing the name of your moodle website, the correct id of the event and the other number of the course (if it won't work like this).

In the opened window you will see a "Delete" button. Press it and you're done!
