If someone wants to upload multiple feedback files (in zip format), but their assignment is set up as a group assignment, what's the best way to manage the process?
This is our current process (Moodle 3.5):
- Students submit to a group assignment
- The member of staff downloads all of the student submissions in zip format (resulting in a zip with multiple copies of each submitted file - given that each file appears against every group member)
- Staff member marks only one of the Group A submissions, one of the Group B submissions (etc.) and zips them up
- Staff member goes to the grading table and from the Grading action menu and selects 'Upload multiple feedback files in a zip'
- The marked files go to the relevant students only - and are not shared with their group members
The staff member can then go to the individual student grading screen (for a student who has a response file) - the 'Apply grades and feedback to entire group' setting is set to 'Yes' so they press the 'Save' button.
When the Save button is pressed, the feedback file is then associated with the other members in the group. This would be fine if it weren't for the fact that some of our academics have very large numbers of groups!
