Hi we're receiving odd reports of certain users receiving 404 errors when accessing our moodlecloud page. Some users are accessing our site, however it does seem to be less then normal.

Is anyone else having issues?

Dear Sam,

If you are still having an issue, can you please reply to your support ticket with some further information on this (including screenshots if possible) so we can look at what you/your students are seeing and understand the issue further?

If possible can you include in the ticket the following:
  • Which browser are you using? Have you tried a different browser?
  • Have you tried accessing the site in incognito tab.
  • Are you signing in with single sign on or do you login with username and password
  • Which URL are you using to login?
  • Go to https://www.whatismyip.com/ and let us know your IPv4 address
If you can provide any screenshots with the site URL too - that would be much appreciated!

Thanks
Kelly

Thanks it seems like moodle is using a non standard port the url people are using is http://tsplearn.moodlecloud.com/ however it seems to be forwarding them to port 81. Learners who are using a firewall that blocks non standard traffic are then unable to login. See error message and attached screenshot.

The requested URL /login/index.php was not found on this server.

Apache Server at tsplearn.MoodleCloud.com Port 81

Seems to be that users are receiving the blank page if they visit the URL with nothing after it.

They're receiving the Apache error 81 if they try to visit the /login/index.html site.

https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/tsplearn.moodlecloud.com.html is reporting that the site is down. However some users are able to visit it. I think it's related to the certificate or not being successfully forwarded to the login page. We have disabled users being able to the front page without logging in.

I'm able to replicate the error by opening an incognito page and visiting the url it doesn't always correctly forward me to the login/index.php.
