Hello,

I've updated Collapsed Topics as follows:

Version 3.10.1.0 for Moodle 3.10 version 2020110900.00 (Build: 20201109) and above within the 3.10 branch until the next release:

Version 3.9.1.3 for Moodle 3.9 version 2020061500.00 (Build: 20200615) and above within the 3.9 branch until the next release:

Version 3.8.1.4 for Moodle 3.8 version 2019111800.00 (Build: 20191118) and above within the 3.8 branch until the next release:

all with:

  1. Improve colour picker to show the initial value in the current / preview colour boxes.
  2. Port of Adaptable fix 'Activity meta information not showing when student first accesses page' - https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=417731.
  3. Fix completion progress tooltip not working - https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=419034.

All versions are 'stable', but bugs still might be there, so always check on a test server first.

Please report any issues with these versions here only.  Look at the forum rules for what information you need to supply.

Dear Gareth - thanks for the update. I have been using the 'View single section enabled' feature which now is gone. Anyway I can bring it back?

Dear Per,

Its still there but could be 'Topic x' instead of the icon. This is a 'bug' with the setting code (https://github.com/gjb2048/moodle-format_topcoll/commit/562a1b1b7198c4a88b4336a35a42e995f3ad2053). I'll publish a release soon.

Small bug fix release as can cause confusion with some settings:

Version 3.10.1.1 for Moodle 3.10 version 2020110900.00 (Build: 20201109) and above within the 3.10 branch until the next release:

Version 3.9.1.4 for Moodle 3.9 version 2020061500.00 (Build: 20200615) and above within the 3.9 branch until the next release:

Version 3.8.1.5 for Moodle 3.8 version 2019111800.00 (Build: 20191118) and above within the 3.8 branch until the next release:

all with:

  1. Fix intended setting values are changed.

Hi Gareth,

Thanks for this. Just one question on the collapsed topic format: Clicking on the circled button on the right of a topic shows that topic only and, at the bottom, left and right arrows to browse through the other topics.  How do you get back to the full page view that one started with - the page with all the topics in collapsed form? I can only get back via the breadcrumbs at the top of the page.

Use the 'jump to' menu between the left and right arrows at the bottom of the page, the selection has 'Main course page'.

Thanks a lot. Unfortunately, that "jump to" menu with an option for the "main course Page" is not appear to me. I only have an arrow to the next topic. Must be something within my them settings perhaps. Thanks again for the reply - appreciate it.
