A quick P.P.S. Update

I just noticed that I am unable to change anything related to the front page...not just display courses, categories, announcements. I also cannot edit the front page name, description etc. Any attempt to save new settings results in the server dropped the connection error....with nothing in any logs (syslog, apache, mysql etc.) that seem to be of any help. sad I'm lost...

Documenting my problem here. I've discovered that this is apparently in fact a Moodle issue. When I change the theme from Boost to Classic the problem disappears and I am able to update the front page settings. Back to Boost and I get the server dropped connection error. Something buggy with the Boost theme in 3.10.1+?

Continuing with my documentation. I've found that the problem with the front page settings exists with Moove as well. Still cannot figure out why I can't get any error reporting/logging but....
