Giving zero to some students

Giving zero to some students

IHello,

I had a workshop, it worked. Most of my students did what they needed. Now I want to give 0 / 20 to those that did not the assessment part. When I "close the activity", the grades of those students are not calculated. Is there a way to dis automatically, that is wothout going to the Gradebook?

In the same vein, I would like to give a global 0 to the students that did not submit what they needed to.

How should I proceed?

I think you will need to manually set the grade during the Grading evaluation phase and set it to 0.

Thanks for your feedback.

In my case it seems that the grading evaluation method is fixed, see the attached capture. I guess that for what you suggest I should have more choices in the "grading evaluation method" menu. I only have one, and I did not find how to change this. Any suggestion?

Thanks again!

Oh pardon me. I just tried and I was wrong.

If there is no submission made by students, the Workshop does not offer a way to set a grade for it in its UI. It can be done in the Gradebook only.

There has been a similar feature request MDL-44731 to address this use case.
