We have just had some students complaining about this on Samsung Galaxy Tab (chasing for versions) and confirmed it's still an issue on a Pixel 5 with Chrome.
Was there a ticket ever raised on this? Sorry, missed it in tracker if there was.
This is on Moodle 3.8.3 about to be upgraded to 3.8.5 but do we need to be on 3.9.1+ ?
3.8 is out of support. You should be planning an upgrade to 3.9.4+ or 3.10.1+ (https://docs.moodle.org/dev/Releases).
