I've seen this before. The B button on your toolbar (or Control B) could either adding "b" tags on top of already existing "strong" tags. You'll want to enter the HTML to see what version of Bold tags were added when you pasted the text in. If you remove the "strong" tags in the code, then you can utilize your control B again.
