Authentication

Hi all,

I am trying to program an Android app in which a teacher can log into Moodle and access certain resources in their courses. The idea (raw) is that you log in, you get a list of your courses and finally you can access the specified resources. The problem is that I am totally stuck in the first step, the login.

I've looked everywhere and I can't find any information that helps me, or if someone else is asking it the answer is never answered. Could anyone give me a hint where to start? At this point, I'm going to resign myself to the fact that what I need is an answer "for dummies" style...
