Assignment as a forum discussion

Hi please help me posting assignment with the following features.

1. It should be a forum discussions

2. Students need to post their response only then they can see others responses

3. First response needs to be posted before a certain date, and once that date is passed They get about 2 days to respond to at least 2 other people's posts

4. They get credit for posting these things before the deadline

Hello Jitendra. I am going to move your post to the Forum area because although you say "assignment" I think you mean that you want to set your students a required task that they must post in a Forum. In terms of number (2) please consider the Q and A (Question and Answer) type forum, as explained in the documentation Using Forum

Mary responded to your second requirement.

I will take #3 which is very similar to a recent forum discussion HERE. You need to set the permission of the student's role to prevent "Reply to posts" of that particular forum activity. Students can still start a new discussion but cannot respond to other people's posts.

When the "certain date" has passed, you need to change the permission for the student's role of that particular forum activity again. This time you will set "Reply to posts" to allow and "Start new discussions" to prevent.
