Thank you, Helen,
Sorry for taking so much time to get back to you. I hope you are doing well!!!
I still haven't solved my problem, that is, I need the glossary to be editable by each student and for these entries to be available to that student without them being approved. Idealistically, I would like each student to have their own personalised glossary or glossaries.
Any ideas.....?
Thank you in advance!!!

Hi Helen and All of you giving a helping hand!

I found this blog entry: https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=27927#p131572

Can you help me with understanding exactly how this could work?

I tried it but with no luck.....

If you set your Glossary up with entries requiring approval then you must approve each entry before it can be visible to all students. So if you DON’T approve any entries, students will only see their own entries (and any that you add) but will not see entries from other students. You will be able to see all entries.

In the Glossary settings, make sure that "Entries > Approved by default" is UNTICKED.

Good morning Jon,

Thanks for the response!!! I have a glossary set up with terms and phrases where I ask students to provide their own definitions and such. The problem is that when they edit an existing entry, it disappears awaiting my approval.

Is there a way around this issue.....

Thank you again for your help as this is very important to me.

Best wishes!!!

Oh, and the entries are not approved by default.
