I want to put a link to a URL Resource in an activity and I'm wondering which is the best way to do it.
Not sure about moodle version should be 3.5 (t comes out when I click on a question mark near some items and then go for more help ...

Actually I gave student some link to external music videos, with some descriptions and text.

I want now stimulate them to visit this sites. I though to create a Choice activity in which to ask them to rate the videos they liked most and would like to give them in the activity page the link to the URL resource (not the direct link to youtube page).

Any help?

Thanks a lot!

A URL Resource can link to external web pages or internal Moodle things. If you want to link to something internal, typically you can go to the web page of interest, copy the URL from your browser's address line, and then paste it into the Moodle URL resources. This is quite flexible, but always make sure to verify what you are creating.

As I recall, my favorite "Appearance" is "New window." However, the "new window" choice is not enabled in a new install of Moodle. This is a setting that you have to turn on.

A URL Resource is quite flexible and powerful in Moodle.  You can even restrict URLs to groups, something that you cannot do with some other major LMSs.  I think you will come to really enjoy URL resources.

I do not use Glossaries in my courses, so I cannot help you with your question.
