So I see what you mean. This only happens with 1 of my 6 external tool services. It is visible on page loads, then immediately gets flagged with [hidden] and disappears. This then is probably specific to the tool. Are you able to check the Tool URL set up in Site Administration - Plugins - Activities - External tool - manage. Are you able to talk with the tool service provider to see what the configuration should be?
