yes, MS Excel does the calculation correctly. It is also easier to create/evaluate math formula in Excel. As "engineer", I also prefer plain form of formula (see above - chemical calculus), without further numerical simplification.
Would be good to have some tool for converting Excel formula into Quiz calculated question....
