How to let one user view a report

Hi,

I am at a total loss here as I can't figure out how to provide access to a report for a specirfic user.

We have a couple of mandatory couses that everyone has to take. I have a course category "Mandatory Courses" under which I have three courses: A, B and C

Our HR manager needs to see who has completed these. The report is giving the correct result and I now need to give our HR manager access to the report.

In the report under the tab Permissions, I added:

c1User field valueusername = abcd

But our HR manager still can't accesss the report. This report should not be visible to anyone else.

You need to give your HR manager a role that has permission to see the report - I am not even sure how you added what you say you did...

If you used the following mechanism:


Maybe you should check the following capabilities of the plugin in issue, and especially the view one:

Add a new configurable reports block (block/configurable_reports:addinstance)
Manage own reports (block/configurable_reports:manageownreports)
Manage reports (block/configurable_reports:managereports)
Manage SQL reports (block/configurable_reports:managesqlreports)
Add a new configurable reports block to MY HOME page (block/configurable_reports:myaddinstance)
View reports (block/configurable_reports:viewreports)
