We are finishing our first two-week sprint, plenty of meetings, focused on clarifying the architecture and interaction of the different H5P new features that will land on Moodle 3.9.

Remember that H5P Epic for 3.9 is the central reference for tracking project progress.

Hot topics

We've been working on:

  • xAPI (MDL-67734) - xAPI statement validation and PHPUnitTests
  • H5P editor (MDL-67814>) - getting a fully operational standalone version, no hvp plugin required. Finding out how to interact with the content bank.
  • Content bank (MDL-67786) - creating a new content bank type plugin (H5P will be the first one).

Besides, we have been improving the initial integration of H5P available from Moodle 3.8, such as MDL-67063 (allowing several versions of the H5P core library to coexists) and MDL-67060 (enhanced libraries management).

And finally, we have been working intensively on the prototypes of the content bank and how it will interact with the H5P editor:
