Memcached - Store not ready

Memcached - Store not ready

I gave up, coming here to hopefully get some insight on how to further debug this state. I'm on Moodle 3.7 and Ubuntu 18.04.

As per attachment, you can see, that Memcached is installed and running, but store is not ready and I dont get it why..



My memcached service is active and running.

Php extension is installed and enabled, double checked via php info.

I can telnet onto 127.0.0.1:11211.


Also, if I want to delete store instance, I get "You cannot delete this store because it has mappings. Please delete all mappings before deleting the store" but there is no mapping of this store anywhere..

What else can/must I check?

I have already found that thread and it didnt help.

After few more hours of testing, I decided to change port and it started working.

So, default port is 11211, its also defined in memcached.conf in line -p 11211. After changing it to 11212, restarting service and updating Moodle settings, things started working on localhost, 127.0.0.1 and on public IP (I have opened both ports on FW just to test it..)
