I have a course that runs multiple times per month and up until now I was creating a new course copy for each session. However, this makes reporting difficult and if we need to make a change in the course, we have to apply the same change in all the copies.
Thus, I thought that groups under the same course could make this task much easier. I thought about creating groups manually based on the dates, e.g. 01/11/2019 and use the date itself as an enrollment key i.e. 01112019. However, each group should have a different capacity because it takes place in a different room.
When I use the manual groups there is no way to set an upper limit per group. When I use the automated creation, I can set up a maximum number of members per group, but it has to be the same for all groups which does not serve my purpose. Furthermore, there is no way to enroll themselves to the desired dates.
Is there a way to get around this problem?
