Cant locate php.INI file

Apologies if this has been asked before.

Im trying to increase the upload size for my moodle setup. I have it hosted on a linux server and I've broken a moodle installation law by using softaculous to install.

I can not find the php.ini file on the server. Ive checked the moodle setup and the location it gives is as follows: /opt/cpanel/ea-php72/root/etc/php.ini

I cant find this folder path at all.

Thanks in advance

Kyle

On your hosting provider configured system, one is not supposed to edit php.ini.

Go to your cPanel and look for Easy Apache or PHP related buttons.

This might help (depending upon hosting providers setup for customers):

https://documentation.cpanel.net/display/EA/EasyApache

Typically, customers are told to use .htaccess files to increase defaults found in the in-accessible php.ini

Uhhh ... word of caution using softaculous to update or upgrade ... known to break.

Due to hosting factors, perhaps your best first resource is hosting provider FAQ's/Docs ... or hosting provider community.
