Guest Acess

Hi,

I hope you're well. I have 2 questions regarding the guest access.

1- Is it possible to enable guests to view the page title without its content?

2- After enabling guest access, logged in students can see all the courses' content, even if they aren't enrolled in. We use manual enrollment. How to prevent logged in students to see the content?

Thanks!

I am not the best person to answer your questions because I don't allow Guest access in my Moodle, but I thought that I would ask a few questions to help you get responses from others.

1) I have no idea what you mean. What is "the page title?" And what "content?" A screenshot would probably help.
2) Logged in students, not guests, typically see the courses that they are enrolled in. If they are not enrolled in a course, they do not see its content. Or is your question about "guests who are logged in, as opposed to "students who are logged in."

Have you read https://docs.moodle.org/37/en/Guest_access?

Thank you for your response!

1- I mean to view the course's home page that contains topics, quizzes and

everything without enabling click to view the content inside.

2- If the guest access is enabled. Every logged member sees the course, but

only attempt the quiz if they are enrolled.

Yes, I read the document and tried before asking.

I cannot be of much more help because I don't allow Guest access, so I don't know what guests can or cannot do. But, you can explore this on your own. Also, maybe others here on Moodle.org who do use Guest access will jump in. I was just trying to get you pointed in the right direction.
