I'm trying to change pages settings for some wiki pages. E.g., I want to flag the wiki's starting page as "read only" - which seems to be a standard task when administrating a wiki. However, it seems to be impossible.. Whenever I try to aplly a flag to a page I get "course module is incorrect". Other than that, the wiki seems to work oK. My Moodle configuration: Moodle 1.5.2, Theme: formal white.
I#d just like to know whether this can somehow be fixed rather easily for this specific course. Otherwise, I'd just wait until the new wiki module comes up as final & stable....
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm getting the same problem with Wiki module (we have the standard wiki installation that comes with Moodle 1.5.4, installed on an IIS server).
1/ All items (Remove pages, set page flags, strip.., revert..) in the drop-down menu "-Administration-" are not successful. They all fail and end-up with the message:
Course module is incorrect
2/ The settings of the new wiki page are centered, they used to be in Moodle 1.5.2 left justified, like any activity setup page.
Any hints on how to fix these bugs?

I just thought I'd add my support to you on this issue. We are just setting up the WIKI on the ICC Campus Web site for the students returning in Sept, but everytime we test the All items delete and the admin funtions we get the error:
Course Module ID was incorrect
Without the ability to remove rogue pages or entries ( we have a few comedians in the school who will test the system.) we are very reluctant to add the WIKI. This is a real pity as it looks to answer many of our needs for project work etc.
So any help gratefully appreciated.

I have set up a few wiki pages to test the functionality of each section before we go live. Input of content is fine, page formation and camel case linking is fine.
But when I go into the admin section and carry out an admin function that's when the problems start.
On pressing the save changes button once the amendment has been made I get the course module error as previously posted.
I'lll go in again and screen caputure my setting which may be causing the error, but I've not really done much to them at all.

When I press continue, it jump back to the site home page.
Could my problem be associated with the set up on the server which is being done by a third party? How can I check this?

I can now see what should happen. So now I need to discover why it is happening for me. Hum..............!
I will set up another wiki using your settings and see if that works.
PS I have set up a Workshop for some of my A level Chemists and ICT students. I'll let you know how they get on with it.

Oops, I thought I'd used the same settings as you. Feel free to set up a new wiki there to test with alternative settings.

Hello Ghasan and others, I'm also trying to use the default Moodle wiki (now using the latest Moodle 1.6.2+) and I was also getting the "Course module ID incorrect" error.
My problem was that all the .html pages in mod/wiki directory were missing the closing </form> tag -- therefore taking (I think) some of the module IDs from other forms included in the admin.php page.
I have filed this as a bug MDL-6701 and included a diff for others to use.

I'm receiving by default all the wiki issues in the tracker. However neither I or my team are fixing bugs for default wiki. Some guy in the general developer forum http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=54647#252379 has expressed his wish to give a hand to keep the default wiki breathing. You can try to contact him or either join us with the nwiki
