we have a Productive server and a Dev server. Dev we use for creating content, tests etc.
On the Productive server we have a number of tests with many participants such as pupils and students.
Now we want to work with the test results. That could mean e.g. to delete certain
results created by other people. We want to so on the DEV, i.e. leaving
the original data on the Productive server untouched.

Is it possible to transfer the data on the existing Dev server ?
I tried to export the course on the Poductive server with existing users in
order to import it on the DEV. The import failed.
What could be the way here?
I could copy the records for the users on Productive to the DB of DEV and make sure that
the id for the users in mdl_user remains the same.
Is that useful or would moodle leave out the export for the test result anyhow.
