Thanks for that. Yes we have set up a scale. The problem is that if you try to implement this in a "Default" Moodle grade book, the platform won't let you since the relevant boxes that you need to select are all greyed out.
By making some changes to the Gradebook Category Settings, see above, you can now modify the settings such that you can indeed now select the Swiss marking scale for example.
