- Go to Site Administration > Users > Define Roles
- Click on the 'Allow role switches' tab. ( i.e. [YourMoodleSiteURL/admin/roles/allow.php?mode=switch] )
- Find the parent role in the left column, and tick the child role.
- Save your changes.
