Course File Links Not Functioning

My problem is in reference to access to the course files (/uploaddata/ or /moodledata/ file folders) for multiple courses on our Moodle system.

The references in the introduction to each of our courses references a .gif file that is located in each course's course files respectively.  Also, the majority of our course content is made up of links to html files that are also contained in the course files.

Currently, the links are not working on any of the courses.  I have checked the global permissions in the config.php file and they are currently "0777".  The permissions for the "uploaddata" file folder and all of the course file folders contained within it are at "777" currently.

I  have determined that it is a problem with links to files contained within the "uploaddata" folder for the file because the course contains links to files that are in the Moodle root directory (an html "faq" file) and these links function correctly.

I am currently working on fixing this problem and it is very important.  ANY suggestions you can give will be great.  I will be checking the forums continually and can supply any extra information that may be needed.

Thanks in advance,

Ricky

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Our site is supposed to go live tomorrow (2/1) and this is a fairly critical issue. Even ideas will help.

Hi Ricky,

If you've not done so already, please check the advice given in the File not found FAQ in MoodleDocs Installation FAQ.

Thanks Helen.

I think we've narrowed it down to a server-level problem and we've passed the info on to our host company.  Thanks for the help, I wouldn't have found it without you.

If you have any other suggestions I would appreciate it.
