At the rate the Australian politics were making negative headlines, they have bigger (analog) problems. In any case it is a(nother) problem for the Aussies. What we should be worried as a global virtual community is the massive global power of the big IT. Google and Facebook are more powerful than governments, even super powers. Ok, may be the fight is only for the hopeless optimists. But at a minimum, as the advocates of an Open Source teaching platform we should not applaud when people pawn the classroom to the Big.
