We currently use two copies of the attendance activity in our courses from primary - one for purely attendance (P/L/A), and the other for participation in class (1 to 4). We would like to combine the two so the students receives a score of 1 to 4 or absent. Is there any way that either:
1. The absent mark can be set as a null score so that it does not affect the students %, or
2. If we remove the absent and assume a student was not present if no score is entered, would be possible to deselect (or clear) a students assigned grade. We've tried leaving absent students unmarked but if a teacher accidentally clicks the radio button the only way to unmark it is to refresh the page before saving, necessitating a regrade of all students..
BTW, fantastic to see the module included in the mobile app, that has been a great addition for us.
