Quiz in app "Cannot read property 'finished' of undefined"

Moodle site 3.6.2 and error is in quiz on custom mobile apps (upto 3.4.0 versions).

I changed user defined roles 1-2 months back when i move to another server. I also upgraded the site to 3.6.2 . It is due to a setting in the website or server.

I'm not sure when the error started. 

Now, I see that when i open a quiz, the button 'Attempt Quiz' does not show, I see a button  'Continue previous attempt'.

I select a multiple choice answer and click Next.

I get the error popup 'Cannot read property 'finished' of undefined'

Quiz answers do not get saved.

The quiz is okay in a browser.

What may be the cause? -> Role settings for Authenticated User and Student? 

Or Redirects when i moved the site to a new server?

Error persists after:


1) Upgrade TO 3.6.3 from 3.6.2  Reference,

Error: undefined is not an object (evaluating state.finished)

Was okay in the webapp before upgrade so i thought to upgrade.

The webapp not says 'Error downloading file' to quizzes and pages - not downloading anything.

Custom app is downloading lesson & quizzes but quizzes are not ok/ not saving.


2) Have upgraded the Moodle Mobile Additional features plugin to the latest.

Checked all settings.


App Quizzes are not usable - what am i supposed to do?

Also, i am not being allowed to post issue  in https://tracker.moodle.org/

I am asked to watch/follow/vote on the issue - which I searched and haven't found in 5 days.
