Hi, using Moodle 3.6.3 and having trouble with (simple) Global Search. This is for company training, so I've enabled guest access on most courses so people can search without being enrolled. Works great!
The problem I recently found is that with the Book activity, the Global Search will not return results from pages within the book unless the user is enrolled. A non-enrolled user can search for everything at the course level, and within other activities, such as Pages, but not inside Books. (Possibly other activities have this problem, I only checked a couple)
Oddly, if a non-enrolled user navigates to the book manually, then goes back to the home page and tries the search again, it works.
