Hi all,

When trying to install the Adaptable theme in Moodle 3.5 this is what I get:

Debugging output enabled
Downloading theme_adaptable ... OK
Validating theme_adaptable ... Error
  [OK] Name of the plugin to be installed [adaptable] 
    

 
  [OK] Plugin version [2019011701] 
  [Error] Required Moodle version [2018051703] 
Installation aborted due to validation failure

The error is very clear. Adaptable requires a moodle version higher than the server runs.

Upgrade moodle to 3.5.4 version.

I am sorry that I was not very specific. I understand the error. I am just looking for a work around it without upgrading my Moodle version.

It kind of tells you right there - the version you are installing is not compatible with the moodle version you have...either install an earlier version or upgrade your moodle site.
