I want to create a new course and use material from several different courses I have created in the past. Does anyone know how to import lessons/activities from one site to another?

Adding to Mary's comment--also check out the import feature in courses. If you have one course that does a lot of what you want, you could restore it to a new course and them import the items from other courses you want.
Keep in mind, importing imports items to the same place as in the original course--so if you have a quiz in course A, topic 3 and you import the quiz to course B, the quiz will appear in topic 3.
AND...If you haven't made changes to the topic names and descriptions in course B, any topic name/description text will be duplicated from topic areas in the importing course as well as the activity.
Thank you! This works very well. Organizing it afterwards is not as big a deal as recreating, so having all the content jumbled is not too bad.
