My Courses does not show all of my courses (enrolled or teaching)

Hi all, 

I'm using Moodle 3.6.1 Free.  After I create a course, and enroll myself (I'm admin, but give myself teacher and student roles), the course does not show up under My Courses.    This is the same if I enroll my students.  I did create a course a day or two ago, that finally showed this morning.  I should have three more courses showing here.  Thoughts?  Suggestions?

Check the dates in the Course settings (click the gear/cog menu in your course and then "Edit settings" to see when the start date is. If the start date is in the future you will not see the course in your In Progress courses in the dashboard.
