Hi 


I would like to change the site URL name - I have begun making the site but it is not active - any suggestions on how to change the name would be greatly appreciated.

Do you want to change the URL from oldsite.com to newsite.com?

  1. Update $CFG->wwwroot your Moodle config.php file with the new domain name.
  2. Update your DNS records, if necessary.
  3. Run the Moodle Replace Tool to update the url links in your Moodle databaase (\moodle\admin\tool\replace\index.php).
