Guys please forgive me if this is a silly question.
At present i use the database activity within a course to capture the data for enrolling students on to course.
1 - I simply set up the database with first name, surename, email, etc
2 - I then export as a csv file
3 - upload the students as a bulk file..... pretty simple.
My question is, can this activity be used to automatically upload students to moodle and enrol them onto a course without someone having to use the csv file. This would be a pretty cool feature if this could be done.
Again sorry if this sounds wrong, but I am not a developer. my basic mind says, the datatbase information must go somewhere in moodle, can this not be used to enrol or register a student?
