External AICC URL session failing to record suspend data

We are experiencing an issue with Moodle 3.4.1 and 3.5.2 whereby an activity that uses an External AICC URL is not recording any suspend data. We have tested in Moodle 3.0.1 and 3.1.3 and it works perfectly in these versions.

Has something changed that is preventing these later versions from saving the suspend data?

It is correctly recording the following:

cmi.core.exit

cmi.core.lesson_location

cmi.core.lesson_status

cmi.core.total_time

I'm having the same issue. I tested on Moodle 3.2.2+ which seems to be working as i'm getting the cmi.suspend_data records.

when testing on Moodle 3.5.4+ (Build: 20190118)

it doesn't seem to get any records for cmi.suspend_data

I used the same AICC URL in both tests
