I used to have a plugin block that displayed a different message depending if you entered a metacourse or a normal course using the global $COURSE variable. It worked for many years now i need it again so I’m rewriting it but the metacourse variable doesn’t seeem to be part of $COURSE anymore. Before i start digging i thought i’d Ask if there is a better/other way of testing for metacourse.
