One course has two course format

Hi there,

Currently, I'm working with Moodle 3.5.1 version.

I'm looking for solution a course has two course format then it can be switched by clicking button on interface from user.

For example, A course has both weekly format and topic format then switching course format by button on UI.

Is it possible if not any solution anyone has? I couldn't find a solution..

Actual course format switching is involved and will cause all users using the course to experience the switch.  Better off using AJAX to change the section names so that you get the appearance of each format but not actually switch.  Topics and weekly formats are so similar, so clone one then modify accordingly.
