Hello Friends,

I have installed moodle MRBS block plugin with successful installations. One thing little confusing about this plugin is to viewable for non-admin users.

MRBS = Meeting Room Booking System.

1. I have added MRBS block

2. From Site Administrator --> Users --> Assign system roles , I have added MRBS viewers, editors for the user I want to add.

I have added MRBS block from admin, there we see properly all the Schedule a resource link under Resource Scheduling.

For non-admin users, I am not able to see this block. I am tired of getting this work

First screenshot is for admin and the second is for teacher(non-admin users).

Please guide me.

Hello,

I have solved my issue smile . For the sake of others who will face this issue:

You need to add some more settings. 

Go to Site Administrator --> Users --> Permission --> Define Roles

For the two sections we need give permission to MRBS editor and MRBS viewer:

Click on the setting icon of above two seperately in new tab.

Select  MRBS from dropdown and search MRBS block allow some settings for both as shown in the screenshots below

Hello Amir,  I am also having a similar problem with respect to the visibility of the block to non admins.  I tried your solution but did not have any luck.  I am trying to install MRBS on 3.5.1 and came across a number of other issues.  Likely PHP 7 related.  Did you encounter any other issues?

I have tried repeated events and the start and end dated do not properly insert into database.

Hello Amir, I was doing a little more research and I think all you had to set was under the authenticated user role, edit and view mrbs bookings.  To prevent all users from making reservations you add email addresses to the area room you want booked


from Scheduling link click on admin-> edit specific room, add email addresses to form field.  If you leave it blank, everyone can book.


Did you have any luck getting multiple days to work?
