Wasn't sure whether to add this request to:
gihub: https://github.com/PoetOS/moodle-mod_questionnaire/issues
or Moodle Tracker: https://tracker.moodle.org/issues/?jql=project%20%3D%20CONTRIB%20AND%20component%20%3D%20%22Module%3A+Questionnaire%22
so I thought I'd first bring it up here.
Working on the latest stable Moodle 3.5.1, I have esentially found that:
1) The start and end date of the queestionnaire report OK to the Upcoming events block
BUT
2) the current Course overview block loading on Dashboards does NOT report anything !
WHEREASE
3) the Legacy course overview replacement (https://moodle.org/plugins/block_course_overview) ONLY reports end dates and not the start date.
If I understand how the new Course overview works, it should go like this:
a) If there is only a start date in the Availability settings of an activity, report that. If the date is in the future, do not yet offer a link to contribute. Do turn this to a hyperlink when the date & time have come.
b) if the end date (and start date) is / are set, report ONLY the end date. Whether or not the start date is current of future again determines if a direct link is passed for the student.
These go for the student. The current Course overview treats students and teachers differently, offering slighlty different options. Not sure what these could be for the Teacher - probably reminders of when the questionnaire ends and how many / if contributions are there.
I hope something can be done to bring the Questionnaire module back to the new Dashboards?
Many thanks,
Przemek
