I noticed recently that the documentation page for the quiz statistics only explained what the numbers in the report were.
It did not explain, particularly to teachers who are not professional statisticians, why they might want to look at it. Even without understanding the technical details, there are a few basic checks you can do, that help you understand if your quiz is working.
Therefore, I just added a new section at the top of https://docs.moodle.org/35/en/Quiz_statistics_report.
I am highlighting it here for a few reasons:
- That is basically just a brain-dump. It could probably benefit from a bit of editing if anyone has time.
- Hopefully what I wrote is interesting, especially to people who hang out here. (It would not surprise me if most of you know most of these tricks already.)
- I was also wondering if you knew other good simple ways to use this report. If so, it would be great if you could share them too.
