As the previous posters already confimed, for anybody with experience in webserver administration, installing Moodle is a "piece of cake".
My personal advice: Don't forget the maintenance part! Installing is one thing running is something different.
Running an LMS like Moodle involves:
- resources to gurantee speed and space
- backup of data
- failover strategy
- migration
- security
- user support
Compare this to mowing a lawn: Thanks to open source and cheap hardware you get the lawn-mower very cheap. Depending on the size of your lawn, the remaining job may vary!
