How do I get rid of news forum in week 0?

Yep, that's my question. How do I get rid of news forum in week 0?
I'm sure Martin had some incidious idea smile to force one on us, but I don't want one there.

Just make it invisible by clicking on the eye icon next to it. That won't delete it but noone (except the teacher) will know it exists. If you are really sure that you will never need it you can also delete it entirely by clicking on the x icon next to it.

...and to stop Moodle recreating it go into the course settings and set "News items to show:" to zero.

It would also be useful to add a spacer <hr> on the add feature like this:
