Good day all.

I am using the adaptable theme and am looking to add a Nvabar Tool Menu for admin purposes.


I have set up my menu with nothing in the field Custom Profile Field Name=Value (optional) and everything works just fine.

I am now trying to restrict access to the menu so that it only shows if the user os NOT a student. 

I grant three roles in this site:

User

Company Manager

Department Training Manager


I have tried putting the following into the Custom Profile Field Name=Value (optional) field

userype=companymanager - no joy

usertype<>student - no joy

and many other combinations.


Can anyone advice?

Hi Mark,

You missed out the "t" in usertype in the first setting field in your message above, just incase that is why! smile

And in the second example try != instead of <> ?
