We just installed Moodle 3.4.2 (Build: 20180319) and are having this same exact issue.

I have same problem working with Chrome
Unfortunately, no and I haven't had time with our summer semester starting to investigate possible solutions. So, basically, just putting it out there that this issue still exists.
