Not too sure where is the most relevant place to put this, but if you could pass this onto the relevant person in your establishment.

latest EduGeek press release:-

From Monday 12th December 2006 EduGeek.net will be running a survey to
gauge the level of ICT support in education. This is a key tool for the
emerging peer support group in its feedback to the ICT Register and
Becta. The survey can be found at http://www.edugeekconference.net/es.

Edugeek.net, a peer support group that seeks to share information and
best practice amongst technical staff in education, was started sixth
months ago and its members have worked hard to produce a comprehensive
forum where technical and support staff get and give advice to one
another.

There are many groups on the internet that work to this end and to aid
this the EduGeek staff are conducting surveys to gauge the level of ICT
Support in Education. The focus of this survey will be on staffing and
training.

The results from this will be published and be made available to the
ICT Register, who have a remit from the DfES to help ensure best
practice of ICT in schools is shared and to work with support staff via
regional workshops, and also to Becta. We are working with the ICT
Register and Specialist Schools and Academies Trust to help focus
training needs and locations.

We hope that as many schools take part in this process so a
comprehensive report can be made. All details will remain anonymous and
only EduGeek staff will see the raw data. All schools that take part
will be able to download the final report from EduGeek.net in February.

Thanks for sharing this valuable information.
Working communication e.g. between technical
pedagogical staff is essential and crucial.
