If you do not see the video image in the recorder, then I think nothing after that will work correctly. Have you granted permission to the browser to access the webcam? Is your site on HTTPS? Recently Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox have been requiring HTTPS before granting access to the camera.
You can probably test this by using a different browser to connect to your site. If you can record from MS Edge or Safari then it is probably the HTTPS issue. Or you could try connecting to the Poodll demo site ( https://demo.poodll.com ). Thats Poodll3, so its not as good a test, but at least it would tell us if its a local webcam issue or not.
